Would like any info on a Stevens Model 940E shotgun. It is a .410 and also has Savage Arms stamped on it (post 1920). It has a D, an A, and a 5 stamped on the bottom side of the barrel. I have looked in several books and on the internet and have not been able to find any info on this model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You probably won't find much on it , it's a variation of the Savage/Stevens 94, a utility grade shotgun.
.410's have been hot lately, and depending on condition your gun shuld be worth between $50 and $100.
