i recently got this gun and i was wondering on its value and info about when it was made, and also where i can get some parts for it; specifically the magazine shell, magazine spring assembly, and the ejector interrupter and ejector interrupter screw. and also it has 3" shells on the barrel but can i shoot 2" 1/2 or 2" 3/4 with it?

O.F. Mossberg & Sons Inc made a whole series of .410 gauge, not bore bolt action shotguns of which at least eight were Model 183 Models As far as I know there are no published serial number-year made tables for Mossberg Guns if the gun even has a serial number. The series was made between 1948 and 1985. For parts you can contact Gun Parts Inc. (www.gunpartsinc.com). Yes you can fire 2 1/2 and 2 3/4 inch shells in a 3 inch chamber however the reverse is not true. Value will depend on the guns condition, the amount of original finish remaining on the metal and wood as well as the mechanical condition. Values given in the Blue Book of Gun Values are and these assume the gun is complete and safe to shoot.
100%-$175, 98%-$150, 95%-$135, 90%-%135, 80%-$110, 70%-$95, 60%-$85 and 50%-$75.

thanks, i figured the chamber would be too long and some of the shot would hit it and mess up the chamber big time, and i tried going to gunpartsinc and it just took me to a search engine that wouldnt display anything, but i did find havlin sales https://www.havlinsales.com/ but im not sure if its legit or not so im going to give them a call on monday

Yes, Havlin Sales is legit. They sell parts and accessories for Mossbergs. They also operate the Mossberg Collectors Association. Have quite a few members I understand...
