Have the chance to pick some up for a decent price.

I've never shot any of the .223 but I've used some other Fiocchi stuff and never have had any problems.

At this time I think almost anything is $300/k good. I'd get it.

Just don't expect match accuracy out of it.

From a 16" 5.56 chambered m4, yeah, should be fine. Is it about the same or better than wolf?

Minute of head at 50 is nice, minute of man to 500 is acceptable.

Hi,

Cabella's had an internet special of $19.99 per 50 of the Italian stuff (Fiocchi .223) and I bought about 800 rounds over a period of a few weeks - using them on paper targets over a 4-week period. They went down the tube of my milspec DPMS AP-4 (16 inch Carbine chambered in 5.56) about the same as the bulk .223 PMC (Korean) stuff I was buying for $379/k. They delivered a larger pattern though than Federal 5.56 NATO M-193 (or maybe it was just the shooter - free standing - iron sights - 25 meters). I caution against WOLF or BEAR (Russian) ammo in an AR-15 variant as it has a steel shell casing with a laquor coating that can melt onto your weapon if the barell gets hot enough. I do not know if the same is true for a Ruger Mini-14. That bit of wisdom must come from much more wizened occupants of "the basement". And remember, it is a NO-NO to put 5.56 NATO rounds down a barell chambered in .223 (unless allowed by the manufacturer in his literature). I may be a "noob" at shotguns, but I am an AR-15 guy.

It sells out quickly, but you may wish to keep your eye on Wal-Mart for their Federal .223 at $39.99 per 100.

GOD BLESS THE USA

I like this standard of accuracy.
