Wilgus is back to his K gun? He got a nice new F3 and has been shooting it. Thought it was even a "sponsor" type thing. I've only seen him with his 391 during bad weather.

I am with you Jeff I think Wilgus was a Blaser and we shot with Bolton if he was shooting a Browning it must be a n a new model for them because it had Beretta written all over it :)

Phillips will be a K Gun also

Of course by then, I would want the golden clays version
I'm registering in the newyear and gonna shoot as far as the wallet stretches. I hear it has to stretch alot.

Well I suppose if Mike shot with Joey and saw him shooting a Beretta then that must say it all  I suppose he finally gave up on the Brownjammer

Like em or not, Blaser is making HUGE inroads - I owned one of the 1st ones and couldnt get rid of it quick enough, I did shoot one of the newer one's and while it wouldnt be my 1st choice, MAN OH MAN are some the higher end guns pretty

when do the new Blasers hit the street? Last I heard was early next year.....with the trap model being released later this year and having the O/U barrels seperated, a la Krieghoff style.

Do none of the top guns use a Beretta DT 10? If not I wonder why?

A much better question: What were the shotguns used by people who actually paid for them (not sponsored)?

I am not sure that that is a better question. Do you think any of the top 20 would have shot better with a gun they purchased? Good for them if they can land sponsor dollars, but I don't believe anyone would risk their performance over a sponsorship.

Maybe I'll give Huglu a call???

Dan Carlisle, 5 Stand Champion

Dan shot with a DT 10 but he will soon be switching to an SO 5 that he is getting from Beretta. He has to get the stock finished as it is coming with an inletted blank.

I know of 2 of the top shooters that are only shooting sponsored guns BECAUSE of the $$$

I don't doubt that a sponsor makes for an easy gun decision, but the top guns won't risk poor performance for a $5000 (or more or less) shotgun.

I, on the other hand, would gladly slip back to B class for the right iron (preferably with killer wood).
