Game Unlimited Hunting Club and Sporting Clays near Hudson, Wisconsin invites shooters to participate in the 2014 Wisconsin State Sporting Clays Championship. The shoot is scheduled for August 6-10, 2014.

Because the shoot is just a few days prior to the North Central Regional Sporting Clays Championship and National FITASC Championship at Northbrook Sports Club in neighboring Illinois, the club sends a special invitation to those who will be shooting in the Regional. "This is a great chance for you to shoot some high-quality targets on your way to the Regional Championship," said Game Unlimited's Pete Melloy.

According to Melloy, the club is bringing in some of the best target setters and course managers in the Midwest who have experience in setting targets at U.S. Opens, National Championships, National FITASC, World Championships, and other major events. "We have been blessed with beautiful, varying terrain that sprawls over 900 acres, a target setter's paradise, so we are using target setters who can do it justice."

3. Q- Are all events registered?
A- Yes all events are registered, wed will be European rotation without scorekeepers. Thursday on, all events will have scorekeepers and all events other than small bore will be squadded.
4. Q- Who is setting Targets?
A- The grandmaster Steve Knoll & Randy Voss (caribou) will be the master minds on Prelims, super sporting and Main. Mitch Coyour the small bore architect, Nate Peterson and Bill Carroll the Batman and Robin of 5-Stand Layouts and A Fitasc Guru being shipped in from Canada...Grant Kirkup setting Fitasc targets. WI State is just around the corner we have over 200 shooters signed up as of now and project over 300 based on how quickly entries have been flying in. A great tune up before regionals the following weekend in North Brook 5 hrs away. Targets will be challenging and set by several very experienced target setters- Randy Voss, Steve Knoll, Nate Peterson, and Mitch Coyour. With Just under 1,000 acres of rolling terrain target presentations will have enormous variety and a real treat to shoot. On another note main event payouts are quite enticing with $2,000 HOA $1,000 RU $700 third and $400, $300, $200 for 1st 2nd 3rd in Master-E Class. This money is additional to WI only resident money. Hope to see some new faces for another great event hosted by Game Unlmited and the WSCA.
