I've been kicking this idea around and think I might like to give it a "shot" They would be used just a couple times per year at Sporting tourney's that offered some 20 ga. events.
So if someone has a used set(for my O/U) for sale I might be interested if the price is right  (in other words don't have much of a budget )
Briley Sidekicks. As long as you stay with 20 or 28 gauge. 410 not so good. You can also trade them in to Briley towards a full length set for full credit if you decide to go in that direction.
I bought a used set of Seminole Chamber Mates this season and used them with good results. The ejectors work great when lined up properly and the o-rings keep things pretty clean. My only complaint is that the O-rings have to be replaced almost every single time I shoot 20ga. A 20-pack of O-rings is $5 from Seminole.

The Briley sidekicks look alright so long as you don't go more than 8 gauges different from carrier barrel to the next gauge (I.E: 12-20, 20-28, 28-.410). Seminole chambermates work great. I had won several events with the olds that I used to own. They are now out of business, but they are still around on the used market. Another tip with the chambermates which is a lot cheaper than viton o-rings or o rings in general is teflon plumbers tape. Just a few wraps are all that's needed for a good seal, it lasts about 50-100 rounds, the same as o-rings, just much cheaper. Also when shooting chamber inserts, use high quality ammo, since steel sticks and I always shot Winchester super sporting because of the loss in speed from the jump up in barrel size.
Hopp... save your funds... and get a complete 20 gauge gun that you like. This other stuff ....
pew a lot of trouble.
