For anyone who didn't see it, this was posted on the NSCA Target Talk that just came out:

Shooters Invited to WI State Shoot

Game Unlimited Hunting Club and Sporting Clays near Hudson, Wisconsin invites shooters to participate in the 2014 Wisconsin State Sporting Clays Championship. The shoot is scheduled for August 6-10, 2014.

Because the shoot is just a few days prior to the North Central Regional Sporting Clays Championship and National FITASC Championship at Northbrook Sports Club in neighboring Illinois, the club sends a special invitation to those who will be shooting in the Regional. "This is a great chance for you to shoot some high-quality targets on your way to the Regional Championship," said Game Unlimited's Pete Melloy.

For those who register by July 24, there will be an early-bird discount.

According to Melloy, the club is bringing in some of the best target setters and course managers in the Midwest who have experience in setting targets at U.S. Opens, National Championships, National FITASC, World Championships, and other major events. "We have been blessed with beautiful, varying terrain that sprawls over 900 acres, a target setter's paradise, so we are using target setters who can do it justice."

According to Melloy, the club expects at least 400 shooters to participate. "At Game Unlimited, we are excited about the opportunity to host an event of this magnitude," said Melloy.

In addition to great targets and generous payouts, the club promises a Saturday night party with music, a bonfire, and free beer sponsored by Leinekugel's and Coyland Creek.

Game Unlimited is located 10 minutes northeast of Hudson, WI, which is about 20 minutes east of Saint Paul, MN. For those who prefer to fly, the Minneapolis airport is a 45-minute drive from the club.

Registration is at winscoreonline.com. For more information on the event or the club, shooters can visit www.gameunlimited.com or contact Pete Melloy, pete@gameunlimited.com, 651-757-0591.

According to Melloy, there are 20 hotels within 20 minutes of the club. For information on lodging, visit the Wisconsin Sporting Clays Association website at www.wi-sportingclays.org.
